I would imagine that most of the taste difference is in the unnamed "flavourings" that they try and balance the taste of the sweetner with.
There's a fair few acids in the mix, by the look of it.

The difference between US/Canada and "foreign" Coke is generally the use of real can sugar vs. high fructose corn syrup. Another reason why the US corn subsidies suck....our coke tastes worse.
