Hi there,
I've made a few steps, but I've not done enough so that my two Macs actually 'Share' anything, so I'd love some advice.
On both my MBP and Mac Pro I've opened System Preferences/Sharing and checked File Sharing. On my MacBook Pro window, some text says that "Others can access folders on this computer at" an afp address and an smb address (my MBP is running Mavericks).
The same window on my nearby Mac Pro (running Mountain Lion) says that others can access shared folders at an afp address, and "my Mac Pro".
In the Shared Folders column I've got a folder I'm called "shared files" listed, on both machines..

But now what? Do I somehow enter each computer's afp address into the other computer? Or what.
I've got Dropzone, by the way, which I thought might make this easier. But I don't know how to make it work either.
thanks for any advice,
Malcolm
