Whoa. How did we let this one slip by?

It was four years ago (and three days) that Mac OS X 10.0 was of officially launched for sale to the general public. March 21, 2001. It's been quite a ride since! We've seen countless improvements as our little baby has matured. We've also seen several new additions to the family including iLife, iWork, and the iPod (the big man on campus).

Who else here has been on the X train since the start?

Who else remembers the raging debates over "4K78"?

Who here actually believed the fairy tales about "debug code"?

For you historians, here are the press releases: "Mac OS X Hits Stores This Weekend" and "More than 10,000 Developers Working on Mac OS X Solutions"

Mac OS X, I raise a toast to you tonight. Here's to another great year!
