Still going to hold out hope that the next-gen Mac Pro will be broken out into brain box and slot box connected via Tbolt.
Obviously the Mac Pro is a strikingly niche product right now, but it's always annoyed the piss out of me that to get raw computing power, you had to get the whole enchilada, and to get even a single slot, you had to get the whole enchilada.
Tbolt lets them get around that for all but a *TINY* fraction of even their very small customer base, and provides new capabilities via the slot box to the rest of the lineup.
But then, my prognostication abilities are poor. I bought a Newton 2100.
