You've all seen the 'delay' curve concept.... the issue is that if nations don't agree to a time frame for this outcome, the virus can come in waves from disparate sources operating on different timelines.

Folks here in the UK still believe Universities and other similar infrastructure will re-open in two weeks. A clear eyed reading suggests it is more likely that the peak will pass in mid-summer, with institutions opening about four weeks later.

The infection in China is distinct because it had a single origin which was sealed quickly, every other nation in the world is getting infected from multiple locations with multiple strains of the virus. China had the easy task, the rest of the world a much harder one...
