I echo your sentiments about Forstall. I personally didn't like him, I thought his success got to his head and I believed every report of him being a dick and power hungry. But he is very much responsible for Apple's success and was a Jobs guy since 1993 or something crazy like that. Jobs could be a dick too.
Lots of executive disorder and uncertainty for a company putting up the numbers Apple is. A little weird.
