I am very pleased with this news. The 2 areas of failure for Apple in the past year has been the retail screwup and Maps. Otherwise their execution has been nearly pitch perfect. It also shows that Cook is firmly in control of the company and he's not afraid of having things seem less than perfect. Jobs wouldn't have stood for either of those failures and, it seems, neither will Cook.
