Woke up around 6:30am, still need to publish final article, pull shirts for bands, find Captain Drew and get him to the church on time.

I didn't mention it, but last week's event was pretty great. Good weather, a good turnout, great bands, good spirits. FOJ attended and witnessed (the very first time in the 6 years of the event) Captain Drew after having some of that Old Janx Spirit.

One of the managers at one of the pubs on the crawl had mixed up something she called "Buried Treasure" and when I put one of those on top of the 3 high gravity beers (and no lunch) it was all over!

There was a good 2 hour period that I only remember in snatches. I've been told that Captain Drew kept pulling girls down into his lap and that he had "happy hands". One girl said that it was "the most action" she'd had in years. Needless to say, if I'd been near a computer I would've posted some classic stuff. Thankfully the event lasted so late into the evening that my afternoon mega-buzz had faded back to sobriety by the time it was all over.
