This may be a stupid question - so forgive me if the answer is obvious. I use iTunes with an Airport Express to push the sound out through a small (but really brillant) Bose Wave speaker - I love the depth of sound and the quality is just great. This is very easy to do on iTunes - I just click an icon at the bottom of the screen to select output device.

I'd really like to do the same generally ie not just with iTunes. I'm playing the Crazy Ones (which I've never seen before) and I love it. It plays in Quicktime through Safari and I would love to hear the soundtrack over the Bose.

Is there a generic feature to allow sound to be routed to Airport rather than the internal speaker? I can't find anything in System Prefernces.

A second question: (and again I'm sorry if the answer is very obvious). I haven't found a way to use 2 Airport "channels" at once. I use Airport Express for iTunes with a Bose and Airport Extreme for general wireless connnectivity - web, email, printer.

The Airport card seems to accept only one network at once - ie when I'm in iTunes listening to something over Airport Express, I can't browse Music Store over Airport Extreme. Am I missing something?

If I'm not, Apple should allow "multi channel" access from an Airport card. It's presumably technologically very do-able and I can't believe it's just me who wants it. If we're serious about the digital hub, it must surely be a necessary next step.

1)You can't play system sound through the Airport Express.
2)Name the networks the same on the same channel and select that 1 network.

Well AirPort Express has been cracked, so all we need is a program to turn system sound to lossless and stream it right?
