Hi all!

I am looking to purchase my first Mac computer (probably a 15'' powerbook). I am a college student so I will use the educational discount, but I was wondering if Apple has offered any additional coupons (yeah, I know it might sound a little greedy ). Any help would be great! Thanks a lot!

justmroth,
Yes they sometimes have a "Cram and Jam" special towards the middle of summer, in preparation for the upcoming school year. If you want to wait that long, it might be a good idea.

Cheers,

Go to http://store.apple.com. Click the "red tag" special deals link.

Apple Certified refurb units, Sales, Promos, and Rebates are all in one convenient area.

Also, since you are in college you might find it worthwhile to look into joining the Apple Developer Connection as a Student Developer (more details here: http://developer.apple.com/students/). For an initial outlay of $99 you will not only get Tiger shipped to you for free as part of the program, but you will also qualify for a once-per-lifetime hardware discount that will save you something (for example on the 15" 1.67 w/SD) $160 on top of the educational discount ($260 less the $99 student developer fee).

And, for that, we have a lengthy discussion here: Student Developer vs. EDU Discount ?'s

Also, sign up for Apple's mailings. They update you with offers all the time. For example (at the UK store):
