Let me tell you why first...
My buddies are buying a new rig to run a game server on. With no need for a video card, we are looking at a cheap Dell P4 Server running WinXP SP2. Is it possible to use my PowerBook running Mac OS X to open the server app, change settings, etc? Can you tell I have no idea? |

Yes, there are several options.
You can use Remote Desktop to connect. The Mac client can be downloaded from the Microsoft website Alternatively, you can use VNC. There has been plenty of discussion on VNC on here before. I tend to use either TightVNC or RealVNC as the server (on the XP box) and Chicken of the VNC as a client on the Mac |

Is there anyway to install WindowsXP SP2 from my PB to the Dell Server? We can buy stundent versions of WinXP Pro which aren't available from Dell so there's no need to have it pre-installed with anything.
