For some reason, Apple Mail keeps marking any email from my work Voicemail system as junk. I've tried repeatedly moving the emails back into the inbox, and adding the sender to address book. I've searched for the "Not Junk" button but can't find it anywhere. Did it go away in Catalina?

Anything else to try?

What about making a smart mailbox and see if it’ll filter them in there?

The "Not Junk" button is the same as the "Junk" button. It's icon changes when you select a piece of junk mail that is in the junk folder. Pay attention, as it is very subtle. It will have an up-arrow as opposed to an X.

Also, go to Mail/Preferences/Junk Mail and set a new junk preference that isolates that particular email address. There is an "Advanced" button in there that should permit you to add that particular email address to the ignore list. Under the "Blocked" tab, you may find that email address is being blocked altogether. Since Apple Mail also syncs with your iPhone's list of blocked callers, you may find all sorts of interesting things in that list.

This is still happening and I'm still foxed by it. I have it set to exempt emails where "Sender is in my Contacts" and I've added the sender to contacts, but it still does it anyway with this one address. It's a noreply@ address which I'm guessing overrides all the other settings...but they're not junk mails!

Delete the account; add it back?

Just a thought. Use caution if not IMAP.

It's my work Exchange account. I'll give it a try...trepidatiously!*
