Hola,
Every time I shut down my MacBook directly from Windos XP, I find out my battery has no charge when some hours later I turn it on again.  It was scary the first time that happened. Now I know. |

So... Unless you exorcise the evil MS spirits by rebooting in OS X before shutting down, they will eat your battery? Awesome...
