Y'know, I get that the UNC game was such a blowout that it didn't make good TV.

But it would have been nice to have seen any of the last 8 minutes or so of clock time... especially since the bench got play time.

Dook gives the ACC a bad name. Everyone says the ACC is over-hyped but it's really Dook that is - everyone else is just moderately hyped which is comes with being in a major conference.

Nah. There's something about the 5/12 matchup. IMHO, the "12" seed is one of the last teams in and those teams are often teams that have been good historically, like a Nova, but had a bad season. They're still a good team at heart, and we often see that come out in the tourney. Clemson was actually a pretty good team. A 5? Maybe, maybe not. But they were no worse than a 6.

I dunno. Clemson looked like a really good team to me. I can't explain the meltdown. Clemson, IMO very deservedly beat Duke in the ACC tournament, and I they seem to have enough of everything to be a sweet 16 team. Not sure what happened there. I wouldn't say it's fair for a single game to determine who has the better team. That's not really what the NCAA Tournament is about. It's more a war of attrition for the top seeds, trying to see if some teams are good due to a weaker schedule (*cough*Memphis*cough*) or if some teams are riding on their reputations (*cough*Duke*cough*). Anyway, it's March Madness. Don't bother saying your conference is better than their conference just because you beat that team. We can have best-of-3 or best-of-7 series if you want to really determine that.
