I've heard tales of bored Russian soldiers (during the Cold War) adding things like Break Fluid to their drinks (some type of engine liquid) because of its high alcohol content (sort of like "Engine Degreaser" in the Matrix), but this pretty much takes the cake.

We used to catch indians drinking aftershave at the grocery store I worked at as a teenager. If you didn't actually catch them, sometimes you'd see bits of chewing tobacco floating in half empty bottles of the stuff on the shelves.

Aw God... that's fucked up. Can you imagine carelessly grabbing a bottle off the shelf, getting home and having chaw-chunks in your aftershave? *shudder*

My father said that he used to do that as a kid.
He would strain the stuff through 4 pieces of bread and then drink it. Sounds pretty nasty to me.
