Hi

Quick question ... I've trying to put my Beatles Anthology dvd's onto my iPod by using MacTheRipper to extract the VOB files and then use Popcorn 2 to put them into an iPod compatible file.

I've got the VOB files off of Disc 1 (which has episodes 1&2) but for some reason ep2 is first, and then half way through the last VOB file of ep2 ep1 starts and continues into the next few VOB files.

What I need to do is somehow split the VOB file with the end of ep2 and the start of ep1 so I can have 2 seperate VOB files, and then I can use Popcorn to put all of ep1 into a video file and the same for ep2.

So I was wondering if anyone here knows of a (preferably free) program that will load in one VOB file and allow me to split it into 2 seperate files, by letting me choose where I want to split them.

Thanks for any help,

Steven.

Can't you just transcode first and then rearrange using QuickTime pro?

Just by selecting a part of the movie in one QuickTime Player window - containing the transcoded VOB1 - and copy pasting from one QuickTime Player window to the other with the other movie open, thus appending and/or splitting content.

Assuming he has registered (not free) QuickTime Pro.

MPEGStreamclip can convert those VOB files to quicktime friendly formats that quicktime or even iMovie can work with.

Managed to get it working

In MacTheRipper you can select different modes and tell it to only rip Title 1, and then Title 2
