Haha, cool... What is she majoring in? This summer doesn't seem to be as hot to me as most for some reason! I am going to be heading up to NAU in Flagstaff, if you know where that is. Nice and cool!
If you can read this this, please send to an admin, i am blocked and cant post.... |

I guess my internet isn't as slow as I thought. I figured cable should beat the pants off my connection, but it seems to be alright.
Obviously my upload speed isn't as good though, but that's okay. You had me at asl ....... |

At work. Not too shabby, but DL speed is a little slower from the last time I checked. |

They just upgraded the buildings switches to gig-E, and turned on the fiber. heh, heh, heh! Yeah they SIX digits on download baby! Not the fastest posted, but a lot better than it was before summer break. edit: Getting closer to real after hours bandwidth. AND these are over about 100 miles, not a local server. That's almost as fast as the maximum bandwidth for a single lane PCI Express (250MB/s). Holy smokes.

I pay for 3.0Mb/s down and 500Kb/s up, and I only pay $25 a month so I'm more than happy. Edit: That's AT&T DSL by the way. If it weren't so cheap for the speed, I'd never deal with AT&T ever again. Come waste your time with me |

We moved today and we're getting free cable/internet somehow. I moved my cable modem over here and it seems to be working fine. Just about the same results as before but infinitely better because it's free. BTW, when I cancel my service at my old house, I've got to turn in my modem. Can I just pick up a modem elsewhere and use it? |

With Cox you can get a cable modem anywhere and use it. Cox requires the info from the modem like serial and some other "signature" number on it. Anyway, yes for Cox. Most likely for RR.

Here's mine, taken just now:
FWIW, I'm currently "wired" (plugged in, via Ethernet) and have been for a few months. My download is nearly twice what it was the last time I tested/posted, on December 19 (page 2), but the upload is a skootch slower. I don't know if wired vs. AirPort has anything to do with that. But I'm happy with the performance and speed, whatever it is. I don't feel like I ever wait for anything...it's definitely Zingy™. |

But then I might lose my free service! I'd have to rat myself out to get the new modem provisioned or whatever. I'm such a cheapskate!
