Thinking of getting VPC for my mac, so I could run VB.net on it for a programming class. no problem if it'll run slower but just need it to at least install and run so I could do my assignments. Anyone tried that before? how did it go?

Virtual PC will run practically anything a real PC can run under Windows. It provides a self-contained emulation environment. If it runs under Windows, it should run under VPC as long as there aren't special hardware requirements.
So, yes, VB.net should run just fine. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts.
