I recently purchased Applecare for my PB. I figured that as it cost me a small fortune and I travel quite a bit then it was worth getting. I ordered it from the education store and got a great rebate. However, what actually happens then? Do I get something in the post? Do I register online etc? I would also like to know if (due to their portable nature) I was to travel to Japan for a year, would the Service Agreement still cover me?

I got an envelope with some information and an AppleCare CD. When bought at the local store, people get an AppleCare box(small box) with the stuff I got in the mail.
I got this couple weeks after I received my MBP. |
