Is anyone here using Quickbooks Online? I've been using Quickbooks for Mac for the last couple years but found out a bit ago that it is being discontinued with updates only going until 2019 I believe then it's going the way of the dodo.
I'm trying to debate what my next move is going to be. I can either do Quickbooks Online, but I don't know anyone that uses it, or go with Quickbooks Pro, but that would require me buying a new PC computers for work instead of using my MBP and our other employee using the Mac Mini. Anyone have any suggestions or advice/reviews of QBO, one way or another? Die young and save yourself.... @yontsey |

I'm about to transition the office from QB to QBO, I'll let you know how that goes. We found that QBO could directly tie-in via API's to the client management software we're using, so that pretty much made the switch worth doing.

I know i've gone back and forth with you on Twitter about this, but it's still worth saying.
QBO is definitely the way to go. There are a ton of ways that it can be integrated into other programs and it's getting weekly updates all over the place. The Mac wrapper has some bugs, but it's nice to keep around instead of using a web browser. No more Twitter. It's Mastodon now. |

I would recommend QBO over Pro. The value really is there though I hate the idea of a subscription software. My church switched to QBO on a recent upgrade and it's been a fantastic change.

I've been wondering lately about going with Wave Accounting. It's completely free.
I understand that they are going to pitch me stuff on the basis of mining my data, but I let Facebook do that, without giving me anything. |

I'm a strong lean towards QBO right now. I have no desire to have to switch to PC and buy new machines. My MBPr, given almost 5 years old, still runs beautifully. Granted it has a 500gb SSD and 16GB RAM, but Apple has yet to deliver anything for me worth upgrading. Just going to buy a couple nice 24" monitors and a dock for my MBPr.
