Hey, guys. Wondered if I could enlist your help on my most recent wood project. I've entered it into a contest at Ryobi tools* and need votes!

The table is built from 100% recycled pallet lumber (oak heart), and stitched together with lots and lots of love! It was originally designed as a wine table to display the owner's cork collection, but then I realized it would also function as a shadow box for anything you want to display. It works for corks, holiday decorations, pictures, etc.

Amazing what some dirty, rock-infested pallet pieces can become if they just lay off the crack and get their act together!

I want to see the underside — how the slab that holds everything is held up. Also CUs of where the legs meet the body. I don't give my wood project votes out all willy-nilly

Plus, that's a really nice stain color.

And to answer your smarty-pants question: The slab is held in with 3/4" rabbits along the inside of the rail, and the legs are attached with tenons.

Nice table, man. I voted. Thankfully they don't require an email verification or I'm not certain I would have wanted to give another sliver of myself to The Man.
