I just bought an imac.. I updated my software and firmware... Today i downloaded and ran bootcamp, but it wouldn't let me.. It keeps saying update firmware.
Has anybody tried installing Bootcamp since the announcement of Parallels on the apple site? http://www.apple.com/getamac/windows.html Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong... but i don't think i am I have 1.0 Imac Smc Firmware and all my apple software is up to date.. when i run bootcamp assistant it says: Bootcamp cannot be used, please update your firmware before using setup assistant. Any Help would be appreciated.. Thank you. INBLEW |

You need to download the firmware updater. Not the SMC Firmware Updater, but the other one. Here you go.
