I've had quite a day today--much better than yesterday so far. I've even managed to get every game in the south region. The next few days should be fun. |

Texas and VTech just gave me a scare, but pulled it out at the end.
Anyone else thing Florida is going to beat Jackson State worse then Kansas beat Niagara? |

NIAGRA FALLS! TO KU
-headline in many papers tomorrow, 'cause sportswriters are so sharp. The SIU Holy Cross game looks like a YMCA church league game. Last edited by SKMDC : 2007-03-16 at 22:13. |

My brackets ate it big time today.
Notre Dame and Nova gone. That's gonna leave a mark through the Elite Eight. |

So far I've only lost one Sweet 16 team (my Cinderella, Davidson). Texas was nearly a disaster, though. I have them in the title game. That scared the hell out of me. |

Yeah, I have Texas winning the whole thing. Last night was a near disaster. And Nova let me down, but on the whole I'm doing pretty good. 4th place in the AppleNova Tourney through the first round!

I read in the paper this morning Bruce Webber, the coach of the Illini said they lost because of bad luck.
bad luck? 9 turnovers in the last 9 minutes, 0 for 8 from the field in the last 4 minutes, 2 missed technical F/T amongst about 10 other missed free-throws in the second half. Even one of the players said they lost because they were playing to run down the clock instead of staying aggressive. I'm in first, but I lost a final four team in 'Nova who didn't even appear to put up a fight. I think I'm Doomed. The only thing that can save me is a Kansas loss to Kentucky, or a UCLA loss to Indiana, the west is the main bracket where there are big differences between everyone's picks. Yeah, kick tOSU back to Columbus!
My bracket is for OSU to go all the way... But I want Xavier to win, and they're doing VERY good. Edit: YEAH! Oden SITS! Edit2: Okay they didn't sit him... But foul #4. |

If it hadn't been for that missed free throw... Oden is GONE. |

Shit, I haven't been watching, and OSU is my champion. I'm off to watch the OT...
[edit] Okay, now I feel better. Sorry, PKI. I hadn't missed a single game in the South region yet. If I'd lost my champion there, I'd have been toast. Last edited by Wyatt : 2007-03-17 at 14:31. |

What a game! It'd kill my bracket if OSU lost but it'd be fun to watch. It doesn't look like Xavier has it in them in the OT but it was fun while it lasted.

I didn't have Butler in the Sweet 16 but I did have Maryland losing in the 2nd round, so that one didn't hurt too much. The ACC isn't reprazentin' that well.

What a day! 6 games so far, and we've had 4 overtimes and two games ending within three points.

Damn. I wanted to see WSU advance, and it would have been nice to see VCU, The-Team-That-Beat-Dook get further too. Both are out.

A perfect day except for Louisville's heartbreaker to Texas A & M. I had my Cardinals going a few games farther than this.
Next year I gotta do TWO brackets - one with the heart, and one with the head. |
