Has anyone purchased the Windows version SONY DRX-710UL for their Mac? I've read on other sites that the only difference between the Mac and Windows version is the Mac comes with Toast, and the windows version should work fine. Has anyone purchased one of these units? And if so, do they have any problems using the Windows version?

You'll have to download patchburn 3 to have full compatiblity with the iApps, but Apple's drivers recognizes the drive just fine. There's no such thing as different Mac and PC optical drives, just software packages.
