I'm puzzled by one thing, though: was this guy just an authorized dealer or was in some way connected to Apple? I'm asking because it seems like he had a lot of office space, as if he had a pretty sizable operation there; I didn't think most retail stores needed a lot of that.

Pity about the other two dealers though. Is there any possibility they could perhaps all join forces?

I just checked eBay for prices of Apple related posters and holy bejesus! They seem to be worth quite a lot. I've got my eye on a Buzz Aldrin Think Different poster. Very cool.

I still have my Buzz Aldrin poster on the wall, and a Lucile Ball in a poster tube in the closet. Maybe I should look into selling at least the Lucile Ball.

ok what happened is this. the apple store in the pictures above got cleaned out. turned out the whole building is getting demolished. now you would think because they dont need the posters any more they would give them to me, but they refused to.

now a week ago i was sitting having coffee with an owner of another apple store. we have two apple dealers in kuwait and this was the other one. he wants to setup a Kuwait mac user group and wanted my help. we were talking about apple pre-ipod when i brought up the subject of these posters. he told me he might have some left and would call me back. yesterday he called me and told me to pass by their store and pick up the posters. they are really dusty but in excellent condition. can't believe how nice the guy was.

i cant wait to hang them up on the wall now

Interesting story!
Can't work out if the building is still being demolished or the apple store is re-opening?
