Le Roi More (Sax player for Dave Matthews Band) died yesterday at the young age of 46.

I just saw this as well. One of my friends was talking about it earlier.

Sad to see people die at a young age.

So sad to hear that. DMB is one of my most favorite bands, and Le Roi's work has always amazed me. Selfishly I am sad I never got to see him play a show. Hats off to an incredible musician, and from what I've heard, a great guy.

I dunno.... but as someone in his 40s, I'm not too thrilled about this trend...

He died from complications from an ATV crash back in June. No real details have been released, but I'm assuming it was some kind of infection that finally took him.

LeRoi was one of my favorite musicians. As you may have guessed by my nickname here, Dave Matthews Band is one of my all time favorite bands. I've seen them live 20 or so times and enjoyed them more every time I saw them.

I'm really sad about LeRoi, he was awesome and he'll be missed terribly.

Word/rumor/whatever is that he was suggested to remain at the original hospital facility he was at but opted to take the fairly stressful trip back to LA to rehab from his home there. Apparently the move and home rehab resulted in complications a few weeks ago that proceeded to get worse and..... yea...

Very sad.

DMB was the first band I ever got into. I have been listening to them since I was in 6th grade (I'm 24 now) when my friend's older sister left us a tape to listen to in her stereo. I've seen them live many times and LeRoi was always amazing to watch. Watching him belt out the intro to #41 live on his sax was something very special to me.

This really hurts.

Hiding in closet refusing to come out. (No it's not a gay thing) If you're worried at your age, I should be terrified at mine.
