In case you missed it, a transformer blew up on Lexington Ave.:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/07/18/new...ion/index.html This happened 10 blocks down the street from my office. One of my workers was on a bus 1/2 block away from the explosion and it was total panic. So it was just another normal day in Gotham when...
There was a giant fucking explosion in midtown! Apparently it was a steam pipe that exploded. So far 1 person is confirmed dead with 15 more injured. Jeez. Those guys in that video are just chillin'. I mean, clearly it's been going on for a while, given the presence of emergency responders. But, you know, bad things also happen as a result of the first bad event. I would have kept on moving.
