Is it possible to use an external HD as an extra itunes library? Since my HD is only 40 gb on my ibook I want to put 5 gb of music onto an external HD and keep 6 gb on my ibook.
Anyway to combine the 2 libraries during a shuffle play? |

And now for the non-smartaleck response... just uncheck these two boxes in the "Advanced" pane of iTunes Prefs.
Then copy the songs over to your external hard disk, delete the originals from your iTunes library, and re-add the copies. It should leave them on the external hard disk, while still including them in your library. You ask me for a hamburger. Last edited by atomicbartbeans : 2006-05-14 at 10:55. |

GREAT! Thanks...
I was wondering why my videos were in 2 places...one in my itunes folder and one in the original location. Thanks! |
