I don't use Twitter myself, so I don't know much about it. But my wife likes to keep up on celebrity gossip, and so she decided to check on Gene Simmon's tweets.

She kept getting a pop up on the twitter.com site, asking about using extra disk space, or something along those lines (she can't remember what exactly it was asking). She kept clicking no, until a little while ago, when she accidentally clicked yes.

Does anyone have any idea what this pop-up was? I can't find anything about it, and I can't get it to come back. We're just trying to figure out what she agreed to.

Sounds like malware to me.

Don't use the website. Switch to the native Twitter app. Much better.

Yeah, sounds like a spam popup or something. I rarely use the website as I opt for apps like Kieran suggested, but when I do there's never any popups. Sounds fishy.
