My dual 2ghz power macintosh G5 lacks the stock Apple SATA cables for the second drive bay. The Western Digital cable included with my new internal drive is not compatible with the connectors for the second drive bay, and I bought another set of 3rd party power and data cables. What can I do to hook this up? Thanks.

It looks like you need a to connect it to the drive carrier.
