I´m the proud owner of a Dual 2.0GHz G5, but I´ll be selling it to get a MacBook Pro. However, I was thinking about keeping my old 17" Apple Studio Display (not cinema, studio). Is there any chance that I´d be able to use it with my new MacBook Pro? Obviously I know that I´d need an ADC - DVI, since the MacBook Pro only has DVI.

While I know that the MBPs arent out yet, how about people with powerbooks with DVI ports? Have any of you ever hooked up a Studio Display to your powerbooks? Can you set the on/off button to put the pbook to sleep?

If it works with the powerbook, is there any logical reason why it may not work with the MacBook Pro?

thanks guys

Of course, if you hook up any display with the right connection then it will work. There are no special displays that don't work with it.
