This would mean that carriers offering the iPhone have reasons to actively support the iTunes store. Carriers my use iTunes as a selling argument, and iTunes gifts as incentives. This might make Apple's position in relation to record companies a little stronger, once again...

Every time it appears that there's a lot more into these deals than it seems, at first sight!
