Sorry to bug ya'll on Christmas, but it's just not my night for successful computing I guess. I've been trying all evening to make a movie in iMovie HD 6 using video taken from my digital camera and keep running into problems. When I first imported the movie, there was no sound--then I remembered I needed to convert it to a different format first. Did that with no problems using VisualHub.
So I get the movie into iMovie...now I want to fade in from black at the beginning so I used the "Fade In" transition. It worked OK, but now I've got a flash when the fade transition ends. How do I get rid of that? To add to the irritation, I can't seem to export to Quicktime. The file appears to export fine but when I try to open it in Quicktime, I get the error "Error Opening Movie. The movie cannot be opened". I know I've had the transition flash issue before but can't remember for the life of me how I solved it! The export issue is new, though. Any help with either issue would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, and Merry Christmas!
