I bought a Refurbished 15 inch Powerbook, 1.67GHz G4. Shipped Next day. And total was $1,735.39

I get it and i ordered it with a 80GB HDD. And got 100GB instead.

I ordered it with 512MB of ram. and it has 1GB, and its not 2x512MB its 1x1GB.

So i want to personally THANK Apple so much for this! My first brand new mac and I LOVE IT!

Ah, one of the lucky few who unknowingly get their hands on a refurbed BTO machine. Congrats on the good luck!

And, any chance of making your signature less offensively formatted? Edit; Thanks...appreciated!

A similar, though no where near as cool, thing happened when I ordered my 12" Powerbook refurbished. It was only supposed to come with 256 megs of RAM, but when I powered it up and opened System Profiler, it had 640!

This happend to me a couple of years ago too. I bought a Refurb 15" Powerbook that was supposed to have a Combo drive, but instead had a Superdrive. I was so happy because I wanted a Superdrive, but all I could afford was the Combo model.

Something similar happened to me: my PB G4 1GHz had a hard drive failure, so I shipped it to Apple.

It came back with an 80GB drive (up from 60) and a SuperDrive (up from a combo). They replaced the scratched case and the scratched screen too.

Gotta love AppleCare.

Is that the long way of saying that you got a new PowerBook?

Sounds more like he got someone else's PowerBook. Right now someone is on the phone with Apple saying "But my PowerBook had an 80GB HDD AND a Superdrive! Where did all these scratches come from as well!"
