So I have at least a dozen things I wanted to do on my car today. It's 1pm and I haven't managed to leave the house yet. I cleaned some stuff, paid some bills, and am currently watching a movie.

So any of you guys or gals out there just waste an entire day for no good reason? (or at least the first half of one)

On the other hand, you could learn to rationalise the day based upon George Costanza's advice to Jerry about how to lie successfully ... "It's not wasted if you 'believe' you did something."

Well, now I'm off to go to an oil change, add some foglights, rewire some stuff, change the tansmission fluid and diff fluids, replace a few stock parts with some light modifications, and add oil cooler screens. Should be fun!

I've done nothing today, and it's getting close to 11 pm over here. Have to go to a birthday now, but still need to get dressed... Luckily I bought the present yesterday.

Get this: I've been planning on getting some fix-up jobs done in two of our bathrooms (replacing shower heads, re-caulking, stuff like that) for three weeks now. And every time I suggest it - this is so cool... - the little woman tells me, "Noo, just wait till next weekend. I don't want to deal with it today."

It's like the earth spun off its axis or something and now she is not only not giving me a hard time for procrastinating, she's the one suggesting it. Truly, there is a God.

i waste everyday of my life...i havent left the house since i came back from bars on thursday night. all i do is play madden, smoke the occasional bowl and/or cigg, and drink some beers. god i love college.

After a particularly long, trying week I like to make sure my errands and household chores are done on Wednesday and Thursday so I can just be a slug-boy come Saturday...which is what I've done today, minus a quick trip to Target (which counts as "fun" for me, so no biggie).

But I've been fairly useless since I woke up.

Nobody.. We all like wasting a day or two every now and then..

That's how I know I don't have a real job... weekends are the most productive time for me. I waste Mondays.

All I did today was sleep, play video games, eat, drive, and do laundry (only because I'm completely out of clean clothes and I have to work tomorrow). That's it. I didn't even get up until about 2:30 in the afternoon, because I was sleep deprived from earlier in the weekend. I stayed up until now (3 AM), not because I was busy, but because I didn't have the good sense to just go to bed earlier instead of continuing to play games.

I just finished a major piece of work that had been due for a while ... I always seem to waste days immediately prior to really knuckling into what I should be doing.

And, my post frequency increases here too during that same period.

I made it through 165 pages in my Visual C++ book last weekend. I'm sure my wife would tell you I spent the weekend sitting on the couch wasting time.

If I'm going to blow a whole day on myself I usually pick a weekday so I only have a 4 day work week. Not to mention the Mrs. is at work and the little guy is at daycare so I can actually do whatever the hell I want. Of course what I want usually means nothing combined with drink & videogames.
