Dumb questions: where does your crew get all that varied, colorful cardboard?
At home the only cardboard/paperboard I come across are from a few groceries (the occasional cereal box), and at the office I only ever see the typical brown shipping boxes and white printer paper boxes. Are you guys raiding the Staples rubbish bin or something?? I know some of you guys paint your 'board, but Uncle Sam looks so classy au naturale. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. The only way to guarantee thoughtful, informative discussion is to write thoughtful, informative posts. Good liquor stores have some amazing colors. Grocery store displays are great. The friend who does The Colonel (who looks vaguely like Uncle Sam) has a wife who collects expensive shoes and sometimes lucks into nice patterns. It's kind of cheating to skin a thin colorful cardboard over raw brown cardboard but it happens sometimes.

The Pool & Chicken (or something like it) was our primary reason for leaving Play On Con and driving over. I was HAWNGRY!!
Once we got into the heart of downtown we stopped to shake hands with the kids who wanted to meet us, and when I looked up the fire engine was WAY down the street and it suddenly felt like our very own parade!! ... |
