Now that iTunes has added support for videos, who thinks they should start thinking about new burning software. If we could burn the videos that we put into iTunes onto VCD's, we could use our media from discs in any player. Audio discs in CD players, and VCD's in DVD players. Anyone like the idea?

Maybe an 'export playlist to iMovie' thing.
But they could call it, a "video list" |

Well, iTunes AV is coming whether we like it or not...

God, I hope they change the name when it does. iTunes AV would be such a contradiction in terms, as "Tunes" only covers the "A" part. I can definitely see the next iPod being "iPod AV", though.

Well, as long as it's still about music, whether video or audio recording, "iTunes" should suffice. If they ever got into the movie business though...

I wouldn't consider chatting to be just the words, but I guess it could be interpreted that way. I see your point. |

don't you guys think that vcd would be convenient, though, considering the only other way to burn them is through toast?

iToons could cover both music and movies, if all movies where cartoons.....

Except that iDVD is not as intuitive as iTunes and IMHO is in dire need of a interface-lift. Everything is based on the drawer and you can't even resize the damn window. Personally I despise iDVD just because its interface is so quirky. It does cool things I realize, but if the interface alone makes you not want to use it... something is wrong. I'd love an iTunes that burns Video. ...into the light of a dark black night. |
