Would you mind posting anything you posted at the dotcom here? Some of us are blocked from visiting that site.
Have you checked the return path of the e-mails to be absolutely certain they're from Apple? The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. The only way to guarantee thoughtful, informative discussion is to write thoughtful, informative posts. AppleNova is not a real-time chat forum. You have time to compose messages and edit them before and after posting. |

Maybe his preferences got messed up? Or Apple made a mistake?
I think I said (during a computer setup) that I'd accept offers and things from them. I get email from Apple every once in a while, about upcoming offers, etc. They come flagged already, and I just have them going into an Apple folder, in case I want to go back and see what they were offering once upon a time. I don't want to say "big deal", but I won't say I'm not thinking it. |

but the problem I am having with this is the subject of the message... I have been a paid .mac member for the life of the service so getting spam from apple that they know isn't relevant to me is somewhat annoying... and here is an update on the thread for brad et. al. Quote:

IIRC, anyway. Between my university's and Mail's spam filters it's been a while since I've had to worry about tracing spam. |
