Some guy here in MN developed Colored Bubbles.
Everyone told him it couldn't be done, and he spent over a decade working on it, but he found a way to make bubbles that are a vivid color when you make them, and disappear after they pop. (friction, water or air makes the dye turn clear). Possibly the coolest toy evar! Google is your frenemy. Caveat Emptor - Latin for tough titty I tend to interpret things in the way that's most hilarious to me |

The colored bubbles are pretty amazing, but even more interesting are the potential uses for that technology. I really hope that some of that guys ideas get made real.

That's a great story of persistence ... the zubbles colours look really vivid too!
Gotta second the notion about the potential uses for the technology. Looks like he hit the mother lode now. Dare I say it - "Go Science!" |
