I have to ask ...
I feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me. When you first open up your powerbook - does it immediately snap to full brightness ... or does it seem to get to 80-85% brightness, and then slowly (a few seconds later) achieve full brightness? Or maybe its just my eyes getting accustomed? or defect ... Last edited by Fooboy : 2005-03-16 at 23:48. |

Do you have brightness auto-adjust enabled?

You're right, Fooboy. It is my experience with the old titanium 15" PB and the aluminum 12" PB that it usually takes a minute for the screen to "warm up" to its maximum brightness.
Or maybe it just takes that long for my eyes to adjust also. All I know is that I experience exactly what you're describing. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts.
