This is a demo video (wmv) of a Creative ascii/midi keyboard hybrid, called the PRODIKEYS.

What cracks me up is the way the guy completes the demo.

I taught drum patterns like this to junior high school kids when they were first introduced to music technology, and, believe me, when the hi-hats went to double time (eighth notes) 90% of the kids struggled. I just can't see them pulling off a solo like this guy does.

enjoy ... http://www.prodikeys.com/products/pr..._Drums_Low.wmv

I also love his quote when playing the slow quarter note pattern: "This is Rock and Roll."

All I want is a simple life

OMG, it's Long Duck Dong, twenty years on! Glad to see he landed on his feet.

Well that's an interesting little product, in any case.

I found more demos. This time with some corny white guy (I think Long Duck Dong kicks his ass as far as drumming goes):
"So now you're ready to rock 'n roll!"
"Imagine that you're walking into a ..."

I don't know who Long Duck Dong is - but yeah, that white guy just doesn't have the chops.
