Integrated, unupgradable RAM, knew it was coming. Doesn't look good for the rest of the line.

Sadly, that is already a thing so most won't care about RAM being integrated.

Are they withholding clock speeds so we don't compare it to Intel/AMD?

I love how they are going on about the IGP and how great it is, well compared to Intel IGP sure.

Ah good, Mac Mini, and they didn't mess with the already great form factor. Back to unpainted aluminum, thank goodness.

5x faster than the fastest PC desktop. Guess they haven't heard of the 5950x that just launched.

Look at all that wasted space in that case! They could have easily shrunk that thing down.

Sure, they've also always market each new machine as the fastest ever, whats your point?

Nothing to do with fastest. "Instant On" for laptops was one of the original tentpole features of Mac OS X.

No price hikes. That's good.

And 20 hours battery life in a MB Pro?

This was Apple's boilerplate paragraph at the bottom of press releases in 2002.

...but that is what the fan is for.

Speaking of the fan: So the "better" systems get a fan but the same CPU. What is the real different with the architecture here? Add fan and it does more? It's like a Sienna with the same powertrain no matter what trim level it is.

Really, I'm expecting there will be an M*X variant at some point to distinguish the processor between pro and non-pro systems.

Burning through products here... still hoping they introduce another chip and an iMac.

Doesn't look like it though.
