I tried putting one of those program installer/iPhone hacks on my phone just to play around with it for a few minutes. I restored my phone and everythings fine except it says "waiting for AT&T activation" (on my phone). does this mean AT&T is going to charge another activation fee?

No. It's just reauthorizing your phone. You will get very familiar with this process if you continue to hack and then update the iPhone.

Yeah, I've done plenty of hacking and I have to go through that process every time there's a software update.
Kinda sucks. Wondering if it's even worth hacking in the first place.. Deal with it. |

I actually haven't hacked my iPhone at all, but I had to restore it once last week and it went through the reauthorization process. Every report I've seen has indicated that updating a hacked iPhone will always require the full restore download and then the reauth process.
