Check this out the official Sony website had a flash movie that had a Apple logo show up on a PS3.

Although it was more than likely a mistake, it could also hint at iTunes on PS3 or a deeper partnership.

No, it was one of Shake's little example videos that was used for the background of the website. The Apple logo appeared because the transparency of the top layer was low enough to let the logo "shine through" for a couple of seconds. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell if it was a trial or not.
