My kids 12" seems to have a problem: they left it on all night not plugged in (or plugged in not properly). The battery is registering one flashing light and when I plug it in (green not orange light--is that the right color?), I got it on once briefly (it showed 0% battery left) but I cannot not seem to keep it on even plugged in. I have tried three different power adapters. I have also tried removing the battery.

Any ideas?

Now that I got a job, I can buy more Apple products!

Green is the wrong color, it should be orange. It looks like it's not charging the battery. You should try resetting the PMU (see the sticky at the top of this forum) and see if that helps. Does it run when plugged in without the battery? If it doesn't, there's something else wrong.

It is definitely green, not orange, which is a problem. Also, the PMU reset did not work. (I did this both with the battery in and out.)

Any other ideas?
