Sincere apologies if this is a repeat of another thread, but what software (preferably free) should I use to put DVD films onto a multimedia player...?

Wow, this world really is ridiculous, you can go out spend £15 on a film and still have virtually no rights to use it...

I'll just assume that you'll use it for DVDs you made yourself in iDVD.
