Hi
Me on my dad's MBP. He got a PC and I try to mount theses drive on startup . I did a applescript... here it is : mount volume "smb://pc/c" mount volume "smb://pc/backup (d)" It works well if I just run the script. The two drives are mounted. I saved the script as an application and put it in the startup thing in his account. When it loads, the script stays in background, the drive aren't mounted. If I click on the script in the dock, I got the error. An error of type -36 has occured Anybody got an idea of what's causing this ? Any solution to mount the drives on startup are welcome. You can actually drag the drives (once mounted) into login items. Give it a try.

-36 ioErr = I/O error
Perhaps power / interface problems? |

Well, my other thought is to explicitly put the authentication info in the URL.
Instead of smb://pc/c (smb://[host]/[share]), use smb://[username]:[password]@pc/c. |
