I got the Studio Display about a week or so ago now and it's been great.
The firmware though is on 15.4 and won't update to 15.5. I have a constant badge in the software update section, so I click through to update. It goes through the restart process, looks like it's installing the firmware update, and then restarts, but the firmware is still listed as 15.4 with the updated firmware in the settings app. Anyone else have this issue or know how I can fix it? No more Twitter. It's Mastodon now. |

Running the latest Ventura beta.
Going to take apart the electrical cord setup and unplug it and see if that will do it. |

I think the Studio Display firmware update was for a while pulled from Ventura due to issues. Not sure they ever re-added it.

Figured out a work around.
Connected my MBA to the Studio Display since that hasn't been updated to the beta and did the firmware update from there. Finally this time it went through. Interesting that it was pulled from the beta though. No more Twitter. It's Mastodon now. |
