I have my iBook and I am hoping that there is some sort of USB PVR device taht is OS X compatable. I know there are such things for Windows. I used to record my shows on my PC with my graphics card and hope to do the same on my iBook with a USB PVR device.

Yes, there are several options. Elgato, Plextor, and Miglia all make Mac-compatible external PVR devices. Search the forums or Google for more on any of these.

Definitely Elgato - both the hardware and the software UI are excellent. They are a German outfit whose CEO recently moved across to head up Apple Germany.
I have used EyeTV DTT for about six months and it's very good indeed. |
