actually looks freaking great...might have to get one...

could be a backup storage for all my devices...basically a cloud i take with me as opposed to a cloud in the ether...

So you wouldn't be able to listen some music and browse the web ? ... I guess it's good for movies. I still prefer to connect to my media center at home at stream all of my stuff.

Saw this on TWiT sometime this week, very nice... but I suppose it's fairly limited in that you'll have to use their app to access everything, right?

You can access it with a browser. In the video, the guy said that there was no Android app yet... I think the problem is more with the Wifi. Connecting to it means you aren't connected to the tubes anymore. Or maybe there's a way that I don't know that you can connect to a wifi but still use 3G for internet data.

Great idea. I do wonder though about it cutting out the regular WiFi connection. Also, should not there be some way for an iPad to take advantage of storage already accessible on my home network, like a hard drive attached to my router, without losing the WiFi connection being broadcast over the router? I will be getting my iPad soon, and checking these and many other issues.
